Welcome to Willagee Alive

Willagee Alive is an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) project that commenced in 2003, and is an initiative of Willagee residents and service providers.

Willagee Alive aims to identify and build upon strengths and assets within Willagee, to build community pride and participation and to make Willagee a great place to live.

Willagee Alive Guiding Principles

Willagee Alive is guided by the following principles:

  • Everyone has something to offer
  • Everyone is welcome to participate
  • Treat others the way you want to be treated
  • Take responsibility for what you care about
  • Experiment with new ideas
  • Be open to outcome
  • No Blaming or judging
  • Reflect on experience
  • Apply insights to new endeavours
  • Pass on the gift of experience
